Refund Policy

At Bembde Hospital, we strive to provide transparent and ethical healthcare services. Our Refund Policy outlines the terms under which payments may be refunded for medical consultations, procedures, surgeries, or other services.

1. Consultation Fees

  • Consultation fees are generally non-refundable once the consultation has taken place.

  • If a consultation is canceled at least 24 hours in advance, and no service has been availed, a refund may be processed upon request.

2. Advance Payments for Surgeries or Procedures

  • Patients are often required to pay an advance to confirm their booking for a surgery or specialized procedure.

  • If the procedure is canceled 48 hours or more in advance, the refund will be processed after deducting any applicable administrative or processing charges.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours may be subject to partial or no refund, depending on resource allocation and preparatory expenses incurred.

3. Postponement or Rescheduling

  • In case of postponement initiated by the hospital (e.g., due to emergencies or doctor unavailability), the patient has the option to either:

    • Reschedule at no additional cost

    • Request a full refund of the advance payment

  • If the patient postpones, the amount will be adjusted toward the rescheduled date but may be subject to revised pricing or availability.

4. Non-Attendance or No-Show

  • No-shows or failure to attend scheduled procedures without prior notice will not be eligible for a refund.

5. Refund Process

  • All eligible refunds will be credited through the original mode of payment within 7–14 working days.

  • A written request for refund must be submitted to the hospital’s Billing or Accounts Department, along with:

    • Original payment receipt

    • Valid ID proof

    • Reason for refund

6. Insurance & Cashless Claims

  • For cashless Mediclaim services, refunds are governed by the respective insurance provider’s terms.

  • If a claim is denied or partially settled, any balance payment or refund shall be addressed accordingly.

7. Non-Refundable Services

  • Diagnostic tests once performed, pharmacy items sold, and inpatient bed charges already utilized are non-refundable.

  • Consumables, investigation charges, or service taxes already paid may also be non-refundable.
